We study the the physics of the ocean, mostly at scales that are relevant to the forward cascade of energy towards 3D turbulence and ocean mixing. We use observations and high resolution numerical models to understand the physical dynamics of the ocean. Our work spans topics such as marine Carbon Dioxide Removal, turbulence, air-sea gas exchange, coastal trapped waves and internal tides.
